Evony Age 2 Guide

Seems Evony has decided it’s a good idea to start to address some of the complaints people have in the Evony forum. This time it’s the well known Evony representative Dawnseeker who’s replying to several complaints from a guy named Icer. Icer thinks that paying costumers should be threated better by Evony, and has several things that he’s not happy about. Many players have complained that they don’t like the way Evony’s official forum is moderated and threads are closed. They are that way too often interesting threads are locked by the moderators or game admins without important questions being answered, or various concerns pointed out in the thread being addressed. A few days ago someone made a post called “A Gold Star for Evony” in the general discussion forum. He complained that admins leave totally unhelpful replies in threads and then closing them down way too often.

In this case it was a thread about botting they closed down, which is a topic I understand the game admins don’t want to be discussed. The interesting part however is that they actually replied to the closing of threads complaints from players and made the “A Gold Star for Evony” thread a sticky. Using the iEvony application you can now find descriptions of new items for Evony, some of the items letting you increase alliance members to 1,000! I’m wondering if these items might be used in Evony Age 2, as it says coming soon behind the description of them. You can find the new items under “Exchange table for credits” inside iEvony. The three items you can actually buy for iEvony credits are three different versions of Ritual of Pact.

Ritual of Pact Advanced lets you increase alliance members to 1,000 and costs 4,500 iEvony credits. The increase of alliance members is active for 15 days, and multiple uses of the items can increase the period, using 2 items it will last for 30 days, 3 for 45 days, etc. Read the rest of this entry »

Evony sent out messages yesterday about a new item called the dream truce, an item you will get if you spend more than $30 from now until January 20. Yes, that’s right, you always have to spend money to get something from Evony. Several people complained in the forums about this dream truce item, thinking this would give people spending money on the game a massive advantage. From the email Evony sent out it was almost impossible to figure out exactly how this item worked. Mods have been posting in the forum however to clear things up. Read the rest of this entry »

The wheel of fortune introduces gambling to the online browser game Evony. At the wheel of fortune you can gamble with Evony coins in hopes of winning big prizes. To spin the wheel one time you have to use an amulet which you can buy in the store for 5 evony game cents. 10 evony cents costs $1.00 USD, meaning you’ll get two spins for a dollar US.

You can win lots of cool prices spinning the wheel of fortune, but you can not cash anything you win back in to real world currency, so it’s not like an online casino as some people claim. Attacking other players for resources is a very good way to grow quickly at the start of a new server in Evony. Be careful not to attack someone with a larger army than you though, since loosing you whole army will really hurt you. In addition to not being able to pillage other players you will probably be pillaged a lot yourself and wake up every morning with no resources in any of your cities. Read the rest of this entry »

Just before New Years what is believed to be the biggest plunder ever happened on the wn1 server in Evony. The loot of 1.2 billion resources were stolen in the first attack and carried home in 120,000 transporters! The attacker was TheShow on server wn1 and the defender, who lost more than 1.7 billion resources total in the main attack and one follow up, was BuRaRaZ. This got to really suck for BuRaRaZ who has probably spent weeks if not months farming NPCs and gathering up all these resources.
